Wolt Delivery Rider Arrested for Stabbing Bus Driver in Ramat Gan

A 33-year-old Wolt delivery rider from Bnei Brak was arrested in Tel Aviv on suspicion of stabbing a bus driver in Ramat Gan last Tuesday. The incident reportedly began as a road dispute between the motorcycle rider and the bus driver, escalating into a physical altercation during which the driver was stabbed. The bus driver sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment.

Following the attack, the suspect fled the scene, prompting an investigation by the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station. After eight days of gathering evidence and tracking the suspect, detectives located and detained him yesterday. During a search of the Wolt delivery box on the suspect's motorcycle, police found additional items including knives and scissors.

The suspect was taken for questioning at the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station and subsequently remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear this morning at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where police will request an extension of his detention to continue investigating the stabbing circumstances.
