Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar! Leads With 24 Seats as Ofer Winter's New Party Enters Knesset

A new political poll by Madgam, published on August 26 by Channel 12, shows Gadi Eizenkot's party Yashar! leading with 24 Knesset seats. The survey tested a scenario where Ofer Winter forms a new party, which is projected to pass the electoral threshold with 4 seats, reshaping the right-wing political landscape. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party falls to 21 seats, trailing Yashar! by three mandates.

Naftali Bennett's party, Yachdav, continues to recover, rising to 16 seats. The Democrats, led by Yair Golan, maintain 11 seats, while Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu declines to 9 seats. Among the ultra-Orthodox parties, United Torah Judaism holds steady at 8 seats, Shas remains at 7, and Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, gains 9 seats.

The Arab parties receive a combined total of 11 seats, with the United Arab List (Ra'am) led by Mansour Abbas securing 4 seats. Several parties, including Beit Tzioni-Hamiluimnikim, Religious Zionism under Bezalel Smotrich, the Unity Party led by Gilad Erdan, Balad, and Blue and White under Benny Gantz, fail to cross the electoral threshold.

The poll indicates Netanyahu's coalition would hold only 49 seats, while the opposition bloc reaches 60 seats, highlighting a significant shift in parliamentary power dynamics ahead of upcoming elections.
