A dramatic incident occurred on Monday afternoon at the Ben Gurion Airport train station when a helium balloon drifted onto the platforms and caused a severe electrical short circuit. The balloon touched the overhead power cables supplying electricity to the trains, triggering a series of loud explosions and damaging the electrical infrastructure.
