Miki Peled, Legendary Producer of Israel's Festigal, Dies at 87

Miki Peled, a pioneering figure in Israeli entertainment and the legendary producer behind the Festigal, passed away at the age of 87. Peled is recognized as one of the founding fathers of Israel's entertainment industry and a highly influential producer. In 1981, he initiated and produced the first Festigal, a show that quickly became a beloved cultural tradition and an integral part of life for generations of Israeli children, parents, and families. Beyond Festigal, Peled contributed to the creation and production of numerous cultural events and performances, collaborating with many of Israel's top artists and creators. His funeral is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:00 PM at the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
