Firefighters Gain Control Over Massive Blaze at Vehicle Lot in Kiryat Arba After 16 Hours
After 16 hours of intense firefighting, crews have brought a large fire under control at a vehicle storage yard in Kiryat Arba. The blaze destroyed hundreds of vehicles and caused significant damage to the lot. Over 30 firefighting teams from the Yehuda regional station and neighboring districts worked through the night to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes and an industrial area.
The Israel Defense Forces assisted by supplying water and engineering equipment, while the Israel Police secured the area by blocking roads and ensuring a safe working environment for emergency responders. Fire investigators from the Judea and Samaria district are currently examining the cause of the fire. The coordinated response involved multiple agencies working to mitigate the extensive damage and protect the surrounding community.
