Firefighters Gain Control Over Massive Car Lot Blaze in Kiryat Arba After 16 Hours

After 16 hours of intense firefighting efforts, Israeli Fire and Rescue teams announced on Sunday that they have gained control over the massive fire in Kiryat Arba. The blaze consumed hundreds of vehicles in a car lot, causing extensive damage. Fire investigators from the Judea and Samaria district are currently examining the cause of the fire.

More than 30 firefighting teams from the regional Judah station and neighboring districts worked continuously from the onset of the fire through the early morning hours until all burning vehicles were extinguished. The operation was conducted in full coordination with the Israel Defense Forces, which provided water supplies and engineering equipment, and the Israel Police, which secured the area by blocking traffic and creating a safe working environment for the emergency crews.

The combined efforts aimed to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes and an industrial zone, ultimately leading to the complete extinguishment of the blaze. Authorities continue to investigate the origin of the fire to determine its cause.
