Large Vehicle Yard Fire Erupts in Kiryat Arba, Emergency Teams Respond

A significant fire broke out at a vehicle yard designated for dismantling in the industrial area of Kiryat Arba. Seventeen firefighting teams, supported by dozens of volunteers, are actively combating the blaze. The operation includes the use of water supply vehicles and a high-reach crane to manage the fire.

The Israel Defense Forces have deployed water tankers to assist the firefighting efforts. Due to heavy smoke and intense heat radiation, police have closed off traffic routes around the site to ensure public safety. A bulldozer is also in use to remove vehicles not yet affected by the fire, aiming to prevent further spread.

Fire and rescue authorities have urged the public to avoid the area, use alternative routes, and allow emergency personnel to work without interference. The situation remains ongoing as teams continue their efforts to contain the fire and mitigate damage.
