Rain Returns Briefly Before Summer, Then Temperatures Rise
Israel’s Meteorological Service says that despite the middle of June, the weather will briefly feel more like spring in the coming days. Overnight, conditions will be partly cloudy, and by Monday morning there could be light drizzle in northern Israel and along the coastal plain.
Monday is also expected to stay partly cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures. Drizzle may continue in the morning in the north and near the coast, but no major shift is expected later in the day.
A gradual warming trend is forecast for the rest of the week. Tuesday should be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, especially in the hills and inland areas. On Wednesday, the warming will continue, mainly in northern Israel, and temperatures are expected to be a little above the seasonal average. On Thursday, skies should remain partly cloudy to clear, with a slight cooling, especially in the hills and inland areas.
Forecast lows and highs for Monday in major cities are Jerusalem 17 degrees, Tel Aviv 21, Haifa 20, Beersheba 19, Tiberias 20, Safed 16, and Eilat 28.
