Mild Start to the Week, with Drizzle Possible in the North and Coast
Israel’s weather is expected to start the week with comfortable conditions, plenty of cloud cover and only a slight chance of drizzle, mainly in the north and along the coast. The forecast was issued by Ilanit Adler on N12 and published on June 14, 2026, at 05:56.
On Sunday, temperatures will be normal for the season in most parts of the country. Heat stress is expected to be moderate to medium, and the morning hours should feel especially pleasant under a partly cloudy sky. There is a chance of very light rain or drizzle in northern Israel and the coastal plain.
On Monday, temperatures are forecast to drop further, while the weather remains comfortable. By Tuesday, the temperatures are expected to rise again, ahead of warmer days later in the week. Even so, most areas are still expected to remain around seasonal averages.
The day’s forecast highs range from 27 degrees in Nahariya, Safed, Haifa, Ariel, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, to 39 degrees in Eilat. Other expected highs include 28 in Kiryat Shmona, 29 in Rehovot, 30 in Tyaba, Beit Shemesh, Sde Boker and Mitzpe Ramon, 31 in Katzrin, 32 in Beersheba, 34 in Tiberias and 35 in the Dead Sea area.
