Hot Day Ahead, with Possible Morning Drizzle in the North
Weather on Sunday will be partly to mostly clear, with no notable change in temperatures. Light drizzle may fall in northern Israel during the morning. The day’s peak solar radiation is forecast to be very high to extreme.
Severe heat stress is expected on the Dead Sea shore. Heavy heat stress is forecast in the Jordan Valley and the Arava, while moderate heat stress is expected in the southern Golan and its slopes, the northern valleys, the Lower Galilee, the Kinneret Valley, Judea Desert, and eastern Negev.
On Monday, temperatures are not expected to change significantly, and morning drizzle is again possible in the north and along the coast. On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, mainly in the mountains and inland areas, followed by another slight increase on Wednesday, when readings are expected to be a little above seasonal average.
