Weather starts with drizzle, then turns warmer than usual
Israel’s weather will begin the week with partly cloudy skies and local morning drizzle in the north, followed by a gradual warming trend that will make temperatures slightly above seasonal norms by midweek.
On Sunday, conditions are expected to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with no major change in temperatures. Light drizzles may fall in the north during the morning, and the night will be partly cloudy.
Monday is forecast to stay partly cloudy with temperatures again largely unchanged. Morning drizzle may appear in the north and along the coast. On Tuesday, skies should be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, mainly in the mountains and inland areas.
By Wednesday, partly cloudy to clear conditions are expected to continue, along with another slight increase in temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland. Forecasters say readings will be a little above normal for the season. The forecasted range for Sunday night and Monday includes Jerusalem 17 to 28, Tel Aviv 21 to 28, Beersheba 19 to 30, Haifa 20 to 27, Tiberias 20 to 31, Safed 16 to 25, and Eilat 28 to 39.
