Rain Returns to Northern Israel and Coastal Plain This Week

Israel is set to experience a return of localized, light rain starting Tuesday, primarily affecting the northern part of the country and the coastal plain. The weather forecast indicates that Tuesday will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, especially in the central and southern regions, though temperatures will remain seasonably normal. However, by Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop, particularly in the center and south, becoming lower than average for this time of year. Scattered light rain or drizzle is possible along the coast, and the north may see isolated thunderstorms. This trend of partly cloudy skies and below-average temperatures will continue into Thursday, with a chance of light, localized rain along the coast. Temperatures are forecast to be cooler than usual across the country. For example, highs on Thursday are expected to reach 25°C in Eilat, 21°C in Ashdod and Tel Aviv, 19°C in Beersheba, 16°C in Jerusalem and Safed, and 19°C in Katzrin.
