Lawyer Arrested for Smashing Car Windows During Domestic Dispute in Northern Israel

A lawyer in his 40s was arrested last Wednesday afternoon in the northern Israeli town of Rosh Pina after allegedly smashing the windows of a car with a hammer while his partner was still inside. The incident took place in a commercial center, where police received a report of a man breaking car windows and saw a woman fleeing the vehicle. Northern District police officers arrived at the scene and detained the suspect. According to initial investigations, the altercation began with a dispute between the lawyer and his partner shortly before the damage occurred. The suspect was brought to court the following day, where his detention was extended until Sunday. Police plan to present him again at the Nof HaGalil-Nazareth Magistrate's Court to request further detention.
