Rom Breslavsky Asks Minister Ben Gvir to Execute Terrorists Under Death Penalty Law

Rom Breslavsky personally appealed to National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir to be the one to carry out executions of terrorists by hanging, as stipulated in the death penalty law for terrorists passed by the Otzma Yehudit party. During an interview on his personal podcast, Breslavsky told Ben Gvir, "I want to be the one to execute every terrorist in Israel with my own hands, using a button, not a rope." Ben Gvir responded affirmatively, saying, "I will move heaven and earth to make this happen. It is one of my greatest dreams to see you there." He confirmed that the executions would be by hanging, emphasizing that terrorists do not deserve to live.

Ben Gvir also discussed changes in the conditions of security prisoners since he took office. He contrasted the current harsh conditions with the previous lenient treatment, which included luxuries like marmalade, chocolate, televisions, ping-pong tables, and quality meat. He recounted incidents where prisoners received medical care for injuries sustained during violent acts. Ben Gvir concluded by stating that the prisoners now suffer greatly, which he believes is necessary to bring some measure of justice and relief to victims like Breslavsky and others affected by terrorism.
