Israeli Women Missing in Vienna Spotted Leaving Apartment, Search Expands Across Europe

The disappearance of Israeli sisters Mali and Liel Yahalomi in Vienna, last contacted about a week ago, continues to captivate public attention in Israel. On Friday, new footage emerged showing the two women leaving their apartment carrying personal belongings and without any other individuals present, effectively ruling out the theory that they were abducted from their residence. Authorities now believe the sisters are no longer in Austria, prompting an expansion of the search to other European countries.

A senior official involved in the investigation told Channel 12 news that the starting assumption is that the sisters are alive and that all investigative leads remain open. The last known phone location was recorded on Saturday morning near Vienna's central bus station. Security camera footage from the area is currently being reviewed to trace their movements and determine if they boarded a train.

The investigation is being conducted jointly by the Vienna police and the economic crimes unit of Israel's Lahav 433 police division. Meanwhile, Israeli media continue to follow the case closely, highlighting the complexity and public concern surrounding the sisters' disappearance.
