Slight Temperature Drop in Israel, But Heat Remains Above Seasonal Norms

The weather in Israel on Friday will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight temperature decrease mainly noticeable in the mountains and inland areas. Beachgoers should expect challenging conditions, as the Mediterranean Sea along the northern, central, and southern coasts will be rough with wave heights ranging from 50 to 80 centimeters. The Sea of Galilee will have moderate to choppy waves between 30 and 60 centimeters, while the Gulf of Eilat will be calmer with waves of 20 to 40 centimeters.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly compared to Friday, continuing the trend of hot weather following the brief cooling. Wave heights are predicted to remain between 50 and 80 centimeters. Specific temperature forecasts for major cities include Jerusalem at 21-30°C, Tel Aviv-Yafo at 26-31°C, Haifa at 25-30°C, Kiryat Shmona at 24-35°C, Safed at 20-29°C, Tiberias at 27-38°C, Ashdod at 25-31°C, Beersheba at 23-34°C, Mitzpe Ramon at 21-30°C, and Eilat at 30-41°C.
