Two Men Killed in Severe Car Crash South of Beit Shemesh

Two men in their 40s died overnight in a serious car accident on Road 383 near the moshav Zekharya, south of Beit Shemesh. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and confirmed the deaths of the two men. A woman in her 40s was moderately injured and was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.

Paramedics Zuri'el Meirs, Yehoshua Gottlieb, and Shmuel Arieli described the crash as very severe, involving two vehicles. One man was found unconscious and without vital signs on the roadside, while the other was trapped inside his vehicle, also unconscious and unresponsive. Despite medical efforts, both men were declared dead at the scene.

Police from the Jerusalem District Traffic Department and Border Police forces responded to the accident. Initial reports suggest a head-on collision. Authorities closed the road, redirected traffic, and began collecting evidence. Traffic accident investigators are conducting a detailed inquiry into the circumstances of the crash.
