26-Year-Old Arrested in Tel Aviv for Massive Credit Card Fraud Involving Luxury Goods

A 26-year-old man residing in Tel Aviv but originally from northern Israel was arrested on suspicion of conducting large-scale credit card fraud in the city. Authorities estimate the total amount involved could reach up to 500,000 shekels. The suspect allegedly purchased products from dozens of businesses using stolen credit card details and then sold these items for cash.

The investigation, carried out covertly over recent months at the Tel Aviv North police station, was triggered by reports of high-value purchases made with stolen credit card information. After acquiring the goods fraudulently, the suspect reportedly converted them into cash, which he then used for personal shopping. Among the luxury items he is suspected of buying with the illicit funds are branded clothing and high-end eyewear, including Cartier products.

The arrest took place yesterday, and a search of the suspect’s home uncovered numerous luxury items believed to have been purchased through the fraudulent scheme. Confiscated goods include designer clothes, shoes, sunglasses, and computers. The case is currently under further investigation by the police.
