William Agada Returns to Hapoel Haifa for Second Stint

Hapoel Haifa announced on Monday the signing of Nigerian forward William Agada for one season, finalized through his agent Shahar Greenberg. This marks Agada's second tenure with the Carmel-based club, where he previously scored six goals on loan from Hapoel Jerusalem during the 2020/21 season. The 26-year-old striker has scored over 60 goals in senior teams throughout his career, including stints at Hapoel Katamon and Hapoel Jerusalem. He later played in Major League Soccer, netting 23 league goals for Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake. Most recently, Agada spent half a season with Zaragoza in Spain's second division.

Hapoel Haifa owner Yoav Katz expressed enthusiasm about Agada's return, calling him a fast, quality striker with valuable experience who will contribute significantly to the team's goals. Agada is the ninth player to join Hapoel Haifa during the summer transfer window, following the signings of players such as Shay Elias, Shay Keita, Ariel Mendy, Itay Zafrani, Sally Fahima, Tal Naim, Yev Habiballah, and Noam Cohen. This series of acquisitions signals the club's strong ambitions for the upcoming season.
