Israeli footballer Anan Halaily has agreed to join English Premier League club Crystal Palace in a deal worth 28 million euros, including a 24.5 million euro direct transfer fee. This transfer will make Halaily the most expensive Israeli player ever. According to Sky Sports reporter James Savundra, Halaily is expected to compete with Colombian right-wing defender Daniel Munoz for playing time at Crystal Palace. The club views Halaily as a significant competitor for the right-wing position.

Munoz, 30, still has two years left on his contract but has attracted interest from several European clubs. If Munoz leaves, Halaily could become the leading candidate to secure a starting spot. Munoz joined Crystal Palace two years ago and has become one of the Premier League's dominant defenders, known for his attacking skills, fitness, and intensity. Last season, Munoz scored four goals and provided three assists, setting a high bar for Halaily.

Crystal Palace's recent victory in the UEFA Conference League means the club will participate in the Europa League next season, guaranteeing at least eight additional matches.
