Crystal Palace May Let Daniel Munoz Leave, Opening Playing Time for Israeli Anan Khalaily

Israeli winger Anan Khalaily is set to officially join Crystal Palace in a deal worth 28 million euros, including 24.5 million euros in direct transfer fees, making him the most expensive Israeli player ever. Khalaily is expected to compete for the right wing-back position rather than directly replace Colombian defender Daniel Munoz.

Recent reports indicate that Crystal Palace is open to offers for Munoz, who joined the club two years ago and has become one of the Premier League's most dominant defenders. Nottingham Forest, coached by Oliver Glasner who previously managed Munoz at Palace, is interested in signing him, as is Everton. Munoz is known for his attacking skills, physical fitness, and intensity, having scored four goals and provided three assists last season.

Munoz's potential departure could significantly increase Khalaily's chances of gaining substantial playing time in his first season in England. Even if Munoz remains, Khalaily is expected to receive many opportunities due to Palace's participation in the Europa League this season, guaranteeing at least eight additional matches and allowing the Israeli player to prove himself in the squad rotation.
