Crystal Palace Considers Selling Daniel Munoz as Anan Khalaily Joins Club

Israeli winger Anan Khalaily has agreed to join English Premier League club Crystal Palace in a deal worth 28 million euros, including 24.5 million euros in a direct transfer. This move will make Khalaily the most expensive Israeli player ever. According to Sky Sports reporter James Savundra, Khalaily is expected to compete for the right wing-back position rather than directly replace Colombian defender Daniel Munoz.

Recent reports from TEAMtalk journalist Graeme Bailey indicate that Crystal Palace is open to offers for Munoz this summer. Nottingham Forest, coached by Oliver Glasner who previously managed Munoz at Palace, is interested in reuniting with the defender. Everton is also reportedly pursuing Munoz. Munoz joined Crystal Palace two years ago and has become one of the Premier League's most dominant defenders, known for his attacking skills, fitness, and intensity. Last season, he scored four goals and provided three assists.

Munoz's potential departure could open significant playing time for Khalaily in his first season in England. Even if Munoz remains, Khalaily is expected to receive ample opportunities, especially as Crystal Palace will compete in the UEFA Europa League this season following their Conference League victory last year. This will add at least eight more matches, allowing Khalaily to integrate into the squad and prove himself.
