Anan Halili, the player from Saint-Étienne, is set to join Crystal Palace after a last-minute collapse of his transfer to Inter Milan. Halili successfully passed his medical examinations in England, which had previously caused the Inter deal to fall through. The transfer fee is reported to be 24.5 million euros, with potential bonuses raising the total to 28 million euros. Halili agreed to a five-year contract with an option for an additional season. Prior to signing with Crystal Palace, Halili attracted interest from other English clubs including Nottingham Forest, whose 20 million euro offer was rejected, as well as Bournemouth and Newcastle, who also showed interest in the Israeli player.
