Anan Khalaily Set to Join Crystal Palace After Failed Inter Milan Transfer

Anan Khalaily, the young Israeli right-back and winger, is set to sign with Premier League club Crystal Palace following an agreement with Belgian side Saint-Gilloise. The transfer comes after a summer of complications, including a failed move to Inter Milan valued at 25 million euros, which was canceled due to Khalaily failing the medical examination. Khalaily had a standout season with Saint-Gilloise, becoming a hot prospect across Europe, and began the current season with the Belgian club before Crystal Palace secured his transfer.

Khalaily, who developed at Maccabi Haifa and became a key player in the 2023/24 season, previously moved abroad for 6.5 million euros, boosted by his impressive performance in the World Cup qualifiers. Crystal Palace, the 2024/25 Conference League winners and 2024/25 FA Cup champions, will offer Khalaily significant playing time and the opportunity to compete in the Europa League next season. The club's coach, Pierre Seig, is noted for effectively developing young talent, which is expected to benefit Khalaily's growth.
