The municipality of Dimona has decided to cancel the planned concert of singer Ofek Adenek, which was scheduled for late summer, due to allegations of violence against his partner. Dimona's mayor, Benny Biton, told ynet that despite potential financial losses of up to 70,000 shekels, the city will not tolerate violence against women, calling it a "red line." He emphasized the importance of women in the city, noting that he has an advisor for women's status. Biton stated that the concert will not take place at this time, but if it is later proven that Adenek is innocent, he would welcome him back to perform in the city with open arms.
