Israeli Singer Ofek Adanek Arrested Over Alleged Domestic Violence Against Partner

Israeli singer Ofek Adanek was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of assaulting his partner, social media influencer Hadas Masuri. After two days of rumors, the details emerged that Adanek was released from custody yesterday under restrictive conditions, including a 40-day restraining order preventing contact with Masuri and others involved. Adanek posted on Instagram denying any violence, describing the incident as a private dispute during which he was injured in the leg and emphasizing his respect for women and denial of any abusive behavior. He thanked his fans for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to music.

Adanek, 24, first gained fame in 2017 with his song "Boi Buba" and participated in the sixth season of "The Next Star for Eurovision" at age 16. He became popular among young audiences on social media and radio with hits like "Eich Shehi Rokedit." He and Masuri began dating over a year ago and moved in together about four months ago.

Masuri also addressed the situation on social media, denying rumors that she ran over Adanek and describing the night as emotionally difficult. She urged the public not to jump to conclusions and expressed trust in the police investigation.

According to police, the incident began around 7 p.m. when Masuri came to Adanek's home to announce their breakup. An argument ensued after he woke up, during which he allegedly threatened to throw her belongings out the window. The confrontation continued in the parking lot where Adanek demanded her parking pass and threatened her. When she tried to leave, Adanek stood in front of her car, and during the incident, he was injured in the leg. He then broke the car window. Police arrived following a third-party report and found Adanek agitated and bleeding. Some parts of the event, including the window breaking, were captured on video. Adanek's lawyer confirmed his client admitted to breaking the window but said it happened after he was injured by the car.

The case remains under investigation, with the court having ordered Adanek's release under conditions and the public awaiting further legal developments.
