IDF Destroys Hezbollah Weapons Cache and Tunnel Shaft in Southern Lebanon

In recent operations in southern Lebanon, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) units from the 55th Brigade Combat Team and the Yahalom engineering corps, under the command of the 91st Division, have been actively working to neutralize threats to Israel. Last week, these forces located and destroyed an underground shaft used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to store weapons.

During the operation, the IDF uncovered a significant cache of arms, including Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank missiles and launchers, artillery weapons, and RPG rockets. The discovery highlights Hezbollah's continued efforts to arm itself in the border region.

The IDF spokesperson emphasized that Israel will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or soldiers and will persist in its efforts to eliminate such threats. The operation reflects ongoing security measures in the sensitive border area to maintain Israel's safety.
