Hapoel Tel Aviv Parts Ways With Igor Kolshov After Brief Return
Hapoel Tel Aviv officially announced on August 9, 2026, that Igor Kolshov is leaving the team after rejoining during the current season. Kolshov had two separate stints with Hapoel Tel Aviv, totaling 16 appearances, 14 in his first tenure and only two in this latest return. He arrived this season from Icelandic club Keflavik, where he averaged 18.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Prior to that, Kolshov played for Hapoel Jerusalem and Rubezh Saratov in the VTB United League. His initial period with Hapoel Tel Aviv was during the 2021-22 season, averaging 4.1 points in 14.4 minutes per game. Over his career, Kolshov also played for Hapoel Holon, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Ironi Nahariya, and Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona.
