Firefighters have not yet gained control over a fire raging in the underground parking lot of the future BIG shopping complex construction site in Petah Tikva. Fire and Rescue Services reported that crews are actively working to extinguish the fire's hotspots and clear the heavy smoke spreading in the area. Authorities have urged the public to avoid the vicinity to ensure safety.

Due to the dense smoke, Zabotinsky and Moshe Dayan streets have been closed to traffic. The Petah Tikva municipality advised nearby residents to keep their windows closed and minimize time spent near the smoke-affected zone until the situation improves.
