Manor Solomon Completes Permanent Transfer to West Ham for £5 Million Plus Bonuses
Israeli footballer Manor Solomon has finalized a permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to West Ham United, the newly relegated London club, for a fee of £5 million plus £2 million in potential bonuses. Solomon, 27, will sign a three-year contract with an option for extension. This move marks his fourth club in England, following stints at Fulham, Tottenham, and Leeds United, and his third London-based team.
Initially, Tottenham sought around €10 million for Solomon, but the final agreement includes performance-related bonuses tied to appearances and team achievements. Solomon rejected offers from Premier League side Leicester City, Fiorentina (where he played the latter half of last season), and several clubs from Spain and France.
Solomon has Championship experience from the 2024/25 season when he helped Leeds United secure promotion to the Premier League after recovering from a serious injury. West Ham, managed by Nuno Espírito Santo, will begin their Championship campaign on August 16 against Burnley. Given Solomon’s fitness and participation in Tottenham’s preseason under Roberto De Zerbi, he may debut early for West Ham. The transfer is permanent, not a loan.
