Rabbi Avraham Weiner, Esteemed Biala Hasidic Leader, Dies at 93

Rabbi Avraham Weiner, a revered elder of the Biala Hasidic community, passed away at the age of 93 at Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak. Born on April 24, 1933, to Rabbi Yosef Binyamin Weiner and his wife Chava, he studied in the Or Israel yeshiva for young men in Petah Tikva, where he learned from leading rabbis. He was widowed from his wife Esther and remained deeply connected to the Biala Hasidic dynasty, including the 'Chelek Yeshua,' the late 'Mevaser Tov,' and the current Biala Rebbe.

Throughout his life, Rabbi Weiner dedicated himself to Torah study and prayer, engaging in study sessions from early morning until midnight without pause. Known for his kindness and piety, he left behind a blessed lineage, including his son Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Weiner, who serves as CEO of the Lekach Tov Talmud Torah in Bnei Brak. Rabbi Weiner's funeral took place on Friday morning, the eve of Shabbat Parashat Re'eh, beginning at his home on Rabbi Maimon Street 48 in Bnei Brak at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem at 12:45 p.m. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
