Two Israeli Civilians Mistakenly Enter Jenin, Attacked by Palestinian Militants but Escape Unharmed

On Thursday afternoon, two Israeli civilians accidentally entered the city of Jenin due to a navigation error while driving. Shortly after entering the city, they were attacked by Palestinian militants who threw a stone at their vehicle and attempted to approach and assault them. Despite the attack, the two Israelis managed to escape unharmed, exit the city, and continue driving until they reached the Jalameh checkpoint where they linked up with IDF forces. Their vehicle sustained damage during the incident.

Following the attack, the Israel Defense Forces launched a military operation in the Jenin area. The troops entered the vicinity of the attack, closed local shops, and began interrogating suspects believed to be involved. Security officials are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident while pursuing those responsible for the assault on the two civilians.
