Israeli Forces Arrest Two Suspects in Jenin Lynching Attempt
Israeli security forces have arrested two Palestinian men suspected of involvement in an attempted lynching of an Israeli mother and son who had mistakenly entered the city of Jenin about a month ago. The arrests were made during a joint operation by the Central Unit of the Judea and Samaria District police and the Shin Bet security agency.
Following their investigation, an indictment is expected to be filed against the two suspects. The incident occurred when the mother and son inadvertently drove into Jenin, a Palestinian city in Area A under the Palestinian Authority's security control, where Israeli civilians are generally advised not to enter.
