Israeli Security Forces Arrest Terror Suspect in Jenin-Area Village After Siege
Israeli Border Police special forces from the West Bank, together with IDF soldiers from the Menashe Brigade and the Shin Bet, conducted an operation in the village of Silat al-Harithiya in the Jenin district. The forces surrounded the building where the terror suspect was hiding. After surrounding the structure and calling for the suspect to surrender, he exited voluntarily and was arrested without resistance or any exchange of fire.
The operation took place early Wednesday morning under the guidance of the Shin Bet. The forces approached the suspect's location covertly before transitioning to an open operation to demand his surrender. Following his arrest, the suspect was transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation.
Israeli security officials emphasized their ongoing commitment to combating terrorism and arresting wanted individuals to ensure the safety of Israeli civilians. They stated that security forces will continue to operate decisively around the clock to thwart terror activities.
