Maccabi Tel Aviv Signs NBA Guard Keaton Wallace for Two Years to Strengthen Backcourt

Maccabi Tel Aviv has secured a two-year contract with guard Keaton Wallace, aiming to bolster the team's backcourt. Wallace, 27 years old and 1.91 meters tall, played the last two seasons with the NBA's Atlanta Hawks. In the 2025/26 season, he averaged 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 10 minutes per game, shooting 37.3 percent from three-point range. During his rookie season in 2024/25, Wallace posted averages of 5.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 16 minutes per game.

Wallace had several standout performances in his rookie year, including a career-high 27 points against the Chicago Bulls and a triple-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists in a win over the Orlando Magic. Despite not being drafted in 2021 after completing his studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), Wallace earned his place in the NBA through persistence and professional growth. After two seasons with the Hawks, he is now set to begin a new chapter in his career by moving to European basketball with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
