Maccabi Tel Aviv Signs Keaton Wallace as Loni Walker's Replacement for $1.2 Million Per Season

Maccabi Tel Aviv has secured American guard Keaton Wallace on a two-year contract worth approximately $1.2 million per season. Wallace, 27, is expected to fill the role of Loni Walker, who is likely to leave the team, though Walker's future with Maccabi remains uncertain as his exit clause has expired. Wallace joins Maccabi after spending the 2025/26 season with the Atlanta Hawks, where he appeared in 53 games, averaging 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 10.1 minutes per game. This will be Wallace's first professional experience in Europe, having previously played exclusively in the NBA and its development league. Standing 1.90 meters tall, Wallace is a versatile backcourt player known for his outside shooting and defensive skills. Maccabi hopes he will quickly integrate and strengthen coach Oded Katash's roster. Wallace is the older brother of Oklahoma City Thunder player Khyson Wallace and began his college basketball career at the University of Texas at San Antonio. His signing adds to Maccabi's summer acquisitions, which include Yam Madar, Bonzi Colson, and Daniel Theis, the latter officially announced by the club recently.
