Israeli Border Police Arrest Suspect After High-Speed Chase and Checkpoint Crash
A Border Police officer in Jerusalem spotted a suspicious vehicle with a broken window and a driver acting suspiciously, signaling the driver to stop. Instead, the driver fled at high speed, prompting the officer to pursue and fire shots at the vehicle. Border Police forces stationed at the Al-Jib checkpoint prepared to stop the car by closing the gates. However, the driver broke through the checkpoint gates, collided with them, and overturned the vehicle. The officers arrested the suspect, a resident of Kafr Bilu. The vehicle was found to have been stolen earlier from Mevaseret Zion and was significantly damaged during the incident.
