Rescue volunteers from the Arava unit are searching Nahal Gov for a father and his six children, aged 9 to 19, who went hiking in the area. The family left their home in the settlement of Ir Ovot at 8:00 AM. At 11:30 AM, they contacted the mother, who stayed at home, reporting exhaustion from the intense heat and hoping to complete their hike within half an hour. Since then, all contact has been lost, prompting the mother to alert the rescue unit, which immediately deployed to the site to conduct the search.
