Suspect Steals Car, Rams Police Vehicles, and Is Arrested After Chase in Jerusalem Area

Police officers from the Harel station in the Jerusalem district identified a stolen vehicle near Kiryat Yearim. The suspect fled in a reckless manner, ramming two police cars and endangering the officers' lives. After the vehicle was stopped, the suspect attempted to escape on foot, prompting police to fire shots aimed at apprehending him. Following extensive searches, the suspect was arrested with minor injuries. A female police officer involved in the chase was lightly injured from the collision, and a civilian was also slightly hurt, likely from shrapnel caused by the gunfire. The suspect is set to be questioned at the Harel police station.
