Illegal Palestinian Resident Rams Police Car and Attempts Multiple Vehicle Thefts in Jerusalem

A 19-year-old illegal Palestinian resident sparked a dangerous crime spree in Jerusalem, culminating in his arrest after multiple vehicle theft attempts and a police chase. The suspect, who lacked a driving license, initially stole a car in the Talzston area on July 31 and fled at high speed. During the pursuit by Harel police station officers, he rammed a police vehicle forcefully, injuring a female officer who required medical evacuation.

After the stolen car was stopped, the suspect fled on foot, endangering pedestrians. Police fired shots to neutralize the threat, lightly wounding him. Despite his injury, he continued fleeing and tried to steal a second vehicle. Civilians at the scene assisted police in apprehending him as he attempted to steal a third car.
