Israel Raises Gasoline Prices by 61 Agorot Starting Saturday Midnight
The Israeli Ministry of Energy announced that starting at midnight between Saturday and Sunday, August 2, fuel prices will be updated across the country. The maximum price for a liter of 95-octane unleaded gasoline at self-service stations will increase by 61 agorot, reaching 8.09 shekels per liter including VAT. The additional charge for full-service remains unchanged at 25 agorot per liter including VAT. In Eilat, the price for the same fuel type will rise by 51 agorot to 6.85 shekels per liter excluding VAT, with the full-service surcharge steady at 21 agorot excluding VAT. The Ministry explained that the price hike is due to a global update in oil prices. This adjustment affects all regulated fuel products sold to consumers at gas stations nationwide.
