IDF Intercepts Unmanned Aerial Vehicle at Jordan Border, Launch Source Under Investigation
The Israeli Air Force intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detected near the Jordan border, the IDF spokesperson announced. The UAV did not cross into Israeli territory, and the origin of the launch is currently under investigation. According to the spokesperson, no alerts were activated in accordance with IDF policy.
This incident follows a similar event the previous morning when the IDF shot down two UAVs also detected at the Jordan border. At that time, the source of the launches was also under review, but the IDF has not yet disclosed where those UAVs were launched from.
The IDF continues to monitor the border closely and investigate the origins of these UAV incursions to assess any potential security threats.
