Israeli Air Force Successfully Intercepts Drone at Jordan Border

The Israeli Air Force intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detected near the Jordanian border on Tuesday morning, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The drone did not cross into Israeli airspace and was shot down before it could penetrate the country's territory. The origin of the drone's launch is currently under investigation by security forces.

The interception took place in the border area with Jordan, and the drone remained on the Jordanian side throughout the incident. Following established policy, no public alerts were issued since the UAV was neutralized outside Israeli territory and posed no direct threat to civilians. This policy applies to hostile drones identified and intercepted beyond Israel's borders.

In recent years, Israeli security forces have dealt with multiple drone incursions from Jordan, some launched by terrorist organizations operating in the region. Authorities continue to assess the situation to determine the source and intent behind this latest UAV flight.
