Hapoel Tel Aviv is actively building its roster for the 2026/27 basketball season, continuing to announce new signings and contract extensions. On July 27, 2026, the club confirmed that Tomer Ginat signed a new four-year contract, solidifying his place in Dimitris Itoudis's squad. Previously, the team added Amir Kofi, Kadin Carrington, Zack LeDay, and Thomas Storneski, alongside extending contracts for Ish Wainwright, Dan Otero, Tai Odiase, Antonio Blakeney, Elijah Bryant, and Ginat.

The club's next priority is securing captain Bar Timor, who is reportedly in advanced negotiations for a new deal. Additionally, American point guard Eugene German is close to finalizing terms with Hapoel Tel Aviv. The team is also considering signing a center to replace Jonathan Motley, who recently departed; Maxi Kleber, a nine-year NBA veteran, is among the candidates.
