Hapoel Tel Aviv continues to build its roster for the 2026/27 basketball season, announcing key signings and contract extensions. On July 27, 2026, the club secured a four-year contract extension with Tomer Ginat, solidifying his place in the team. Previously, the club had signed Amir Kofi, Kadin Carrington, Zack LeDay, and Thomas Storneski, while also extending contracts for Ish Wainwright, Dan Otero, Tai Odiase, Antonio Blakeney, Elijah Bryant, and Ginat.

The next priority for Hapoel Tel Aviv is to retain team captain Bar Timor, who is reportedly in advanced negotiations for a new contract. Additionally, American point guard Eugene German is close to finalizing a deal with the club. The team is also considering adding a center to replace Jonathan Motley, who recently departed. One potential candidate is Maxi Kleber, a player with nine years of NBA experience.

The club is actively seeking to strengthen its guard positions by adding an Israeli guard and another guard, alongside the possible center signing.
