Football Association Charges Ironi Tiberias Over Doping Allegations

The Israel Football Association filed formal charges against Ironi Tiberias on July 27, 2026, related to doping violations. The club faces three serious accusations: aiding the use of prohibited drugs and stimulants under aggravating circumstances, violating association regulations also under aggravating circumstances, and failing to comply with a judicial institution's decision.

These charges stem from a complaint submitted by M.S. Ashdod's legal team, alleging that Ironi Tiberias used banned doping substances around the time of their recent playoff match, which Tiberias won 3-0. Following the complaint, the National Anti-Doping Agency suspended four players from the team, David Kaltins, Guy Hadida, Niv Gottlieb, and Kendo Mamdo Samba, as well as the head coach Eliran Hodeda, technical manager Chen Sol, and fitness coach Shlomi Vedardo.

The Football Association prosecutor has yet to publicly comment on the case.
