Israel Faces Gradual Heat Rise Leading to Extreme Heatwave by Thursday

Starting Monday, Israel will experience partly cloudy to clear skies with a slight temperature increase, reaching seasonal norms. Overnight conditions will be clear to partly cloudy. On Tuesday, temperatures will rise further, especially in the mountainous and inland areas, causing a mild intensification of heat stress. By Wednesday, after morning clouds dissipate, the heat will continue to build, particularly in the mountains and inland regions, where it will become unusually hot and dry. The coastal plain will remain cooler but still warm. Thursday will bring another slight temperature increase, with hot to very hot conditions in the mountains and inland areas, and warm weather along the coast. Most of the country will endure heavy to extreme heat stress during this period.
