Gradual Temperature Rise Expected in Israel with Increasing Heat Stress

Israel will experience a gradual increase in temperatures over the coming days, accompanied by a noticeable rise in heat stress. On the morning of July 26, skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy with possible drizzle along the coastal plain, followed by clearer weather later in the day. Temperatures will drop slightly, especially in central and southern regions, remaining somewhat below seasonal averages, particularly in the mountains and inland areas.

From July 27, conditions will improve with partly cloudy to clear skies in the morning and generally fair weather later. Temperatures will rise slightly to normal seasonal levels. On July 28, the morning will be partly cloudy to clear, becoming sunny during the day, with a further slight temperature increase mainly in the mountains and inland, leading to a mild intensification of heat stress.

By July 29, after morning cloud dispersal, clear skies will prevail. Temperatures will climb again, making it hotter and drier than usual in the mountains and inland, while the coastal plain will remain mild. Heat stress will increase further. Specific temperature ranges include Tel Aviv-Jaffa at 23° to 30°C, Haifa 26° to 29°C, Jerusalem 18° to 30°C, Ashdod 23° to 30°C, Beersheba 21° to 33°C, Ashkelon 24° to 29°C, Mitzpe Ramon 17° to 30°C, and Afula 24° to 34°C.
