IDF Eliminates Hamas Drone Squad Commander in Central Gaza Strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the killing of Maam Eid, the commander of Hamas's drone squad in central Gaza, during an operation on Saturday night. Eid was responsible for manufacturing drones intended to target Israeli civilians and military forces. Previously, he led the drone unit in the central Gaza camps and was involved in planning attacks against the IDF in the aerial domain.
The IDF stated that recently, Eid had been attempting to rebuild Hamas's aerial capabilities, violating the ceasefire agreement. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area according to the ceasefire terms and will continue to act to eliminate any threats.
