IDF Kills Hamas Drone Squad Commander in Central Gaza Strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an airstrike in central Gaza on Saturday, killing Maam Eid, the commander of the drone squad in Hamas's military wing in the central refugee camps. Eid was responsible for producing drones intended to target Israeli civilians and IDF forces. Previously, he led the drone unit in the central camps and participated in terrorist attacks against Israeli forces in the aerial domain. Recently, Eid attempted to rebuild Hamas's aerial capabilities, violating the ceasefire agreement. The IDF Southern Command stated that its forces remain deployed in the area according to the ceasefire and will continue to act to eliminate any threats.
